Job Description:

ManTech is seeking a Cloud Software Engineers to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area . In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data cloud systems based upon documented requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design and develop software solutions using Kubernetes.
---Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
---Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
---Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
---Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
---Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
---Review and debug code.
---Perform validation and verification testing.
---Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
---Document development phases and monitor systems.


Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college o r university is required Or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
-3 years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, containerd) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm).


Certification requirements:
One or more of the following is required or must be able to obtain one:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
-AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator


Clearance Requirements:
- Must have current/active TS/SCI w Polygraph


Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
