Job Description:

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Database Engineer (DBE), to join our team in Laurel, Maryland. Join ManTech's mission-focused national security team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce. This role will support the Intelligence Community's Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) platform in Maryland. This role support infrastructure associated with Data Center & Computing Services, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver services to ManTech's customers in the IC. Responsibilities:

• Lead development of databases, database parser software, and database loading software, to include database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.
• Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities.
• Assist in developing databases, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Develop requirement recommendations from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular Business and IT subject matter area (i.e. simple to complex systems).
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from a project's inception to it conclusion.
• Direct organization of requirements and data into a usable database schema by directing development of ad hoc queries, scripts, macros, updates to existing queries.
• Direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, Open Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies. -Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years' experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Oracle Database12c/19c and later, PostGreSQL, and MySQLPreferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager/Cloud Control and Oracle ExadataClearance Requirements:
      • Must have a current active Top Secret/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:
