The Senior Manager will also be responsible for Regional Manager and New Hire on-boarding (TEC Orientation). Support and development of other non-clinical training programs may also be required based on business need (i.e. FST program). This is a key leadership position within the MedTech Education team for the Orthopedics business. This role will primarily work with MedTech Education and Orthopedics Sales Leadership and other functional partners to shape and deliver a variety of educational programs aimed at elevating and driving the success of early in career talent for MedTech Orthopedics.STRATEGIC:

  • Partner with Sales Leaders on shaping a robust STR program and adjust as required based on organizational business needs.
  • Design and lead recruiting strategy for college hire program(s) by partnering with Talent Acquisition.
  • Build strategic plan for the STR program.
  • Build the brand of the STR program across the MedTech Orthopedics business.
  • Build one cohesive EIC program between the STR and Internship programs to source top EIC talent in the MedTech Orthopedics organization.
  • Other non-clinical programs as need to support TEC sales organization.\rFUNCTIONAL:
    • \r
    • Lead the recruiting efforts for the STR program. The STR program will recruit and place up to 20 new STRs per year based on business needs.
    • Partner with sales leadership and commercial education and/or commercial partners to execute on the recruiting strategy for the STR and Internship programs.
    • On-board a new class of STRs two times per year.
    • Establish a robust pillar program for the STR program ensuring that STRs are upskilled in key pillar areas.
    • Design & establish STR mentorship program.
    • Establish and report on STR / Internship program success metrics.
    • Execute critical training activities aligned with the business strategies related to programs supported by the position.
    • Collaborate with cross functional partners to execute on Regional Manager onboarding.
    • Work with content development vendors and act as subject matter expert for training development as required.
    • Ensure that all learning content is current, copy approved and compliant with all government and legal requirements.
    • Responsibility for managing up to 3 direct reports.

      • Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility
      • The company offers a flexible work schedule, pursuant to that schedule the Senior Manager will be expected to report to their assigned office 3 days a week.\rTRAINING: Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period. Training is required for changes in existing policies and procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies and procedures. Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.SAFETY: Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area. Promote safety to all associates that enter work area. Follow Health Care Compliance guidelines as well as follow operating room training and safety standards (Bloodborne pathogens training, etc.).\r
