Job Description:

You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect in the Program and Project Management Division of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, for GS-13, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Planning and project development for military construction (MCON) and facilities repair projects in accordance with DoD policy and regulations;
• Communicating complex facilities issues via policy papers, executive summaries, and verbally;
• Managing facilities projects and planning studies; developing and tracking key milestones (design start, Authority to Advertise, Construction Award);
• Applying knowledge of DoD laws, policies, and regulations regarding the classification and funding of MCON and repair projects.NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
