Job Description:
A company is looking for an AVP, Commercial Officer
(Construction).
Key Responsibilities
Drives implementation of strategic and operational objectives for
multiple product lines within a geographic territory
Ensures profitability and operational efficiencies through expense
management, pricing, retention, and quality control
Mentors and evaluates underwriters while overseeing the account
underwriting process and lifecycle
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in a related
discipline
Minimum of 10 years of related work experience, including five
years in a management role
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation
preferred
In-depth technical knowledge of underwriting theories and
practices
Strong leadership and management skills
