Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience; Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.Final work location is the GDMS Manassas VA facility by end of April 2025. Sr Security Specialist - Classified Document Control Specialist Position Overview: The Classified Document Control Specialist is responsible for managing and safeguarding classified documents, ensuring compliance with security regulations, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of security protocols. Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of classified documents. Ensure all documents are handled in accordance with government and company security policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all classified documents. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security regulations. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate secure document transfer. Provide training and guidance to staff on proper handling and safeguarding of classified information. Respond to security incidents and take appropriate corrective actions. Prepare and submit required reports related to classified document control Support the FSO in other security related functions Preferred Qualifications Experience in document control or security management, preferably within a government or defense contractor environment. Strong understanding of government security regulations (e.g., Developing mission-critical systems that help keep people safe is what we do. This will include participating in the administration and coordination of one or more security programs/activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures, conducting security briefings and maintaining security education programs.
