The Borough of Schuylkill Haven Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. Qualified applicants must possess an active MPOETC Act 120 certification.

Applicants must: 1) be capable of possessing requisite skills, knowledge and abilities of a police officer, 2) be at least 21 years of age at time of appointment, 3) have weight proportionate to height, 4) be of good moral character, 5) be physically capable of performing the duties of a police officer, 6) be a PA resident and possess a valid PA operator's license at time of appointment, 7) possess the visual acuity and auditory ability acceptable for performing all functions and responsibilities of a police officer, and 8) have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
