Previous awards also include: the Financial Times 2020 and 2021 ranking of the Americas' fastest-growing companies, and being recognized as Nerdwallet's Best Real Estate Investment Platform of 2021.We're looking for a talented software engineer to help build and scale our Investment Processing Platform.In this role, you'll play a key part in building out our top product priorities through designing scalable systems, managing the implementation across a team of engineers, meeting high standards for quality, and helping to deploy and observe your software in use. You'll also work closely with key stakeholders across our Product, Investments, Accounting, Legal teams, and third-party service providers to ensure we deliver the best value to our investors.Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and improve software systems for a rapidly growing fintech investment platform
• Take ownership of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, participating in design, implementing new systems and features, testing, and resolving issues that arise in production
• Maintain and monitor systems deployed on AWS
• Review pull requests and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with teams outside of engineering to deliver, assess, and iterate on our solution
• Contribute to infrastructure development, integrations with AWS servicesMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience working in Java
  • 2 years of experience building and maintaining dynamic production-level applications
  • 2 years of experience working with the Spring and ORM frameworks
  • 2 years of experience with SQL and RDBMS where transactions and throughput were critical to operations
  • 1 year of experience with Cloud Computing platforms
  • Demonstrated track record of effective communication and coordination with business stakeholders
  • Ability to absorb and understand large and complex new domains and workflows quicklyPreferred Qualifications
    • Experience making significant contributions to designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance
