In this role, you will meticulously plan, execute & measure events and programs for Samsara's Public Sector business. These events will target Education and Government audiences and may include industry trade shows, hosted lunch & learns, executive briefings and support for our annual customer conference, Samsara Beyond.You should apply if:

  • Own the strategy, planning, execution, and success of the events channel for the Public Sector vertical.
  • Execute end-to-end event program management and logistics from initial planning to post-event program follow up.
  • Manage event budget forecast and reporting, evaluate and communicate results against goals.
  • Facilitate timely event lead processing within Salesforce and measure event impact.
  • Support Public Sector sales teams and customers at Samsara's annual customer user conference, Beyond.
  • Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build a successful event program.Minimum requirements for the role:
    • 8+ years of relevant experience in field or event marketing, product marketing, project or program management.
    • 5+ years of relevant experience working with B2B high-tech products/solutions.
    • Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
    • Skilled at building strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams and external partners.
    • Outstanding business judgment and a love for data-based decision-making.
    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • This position requires travel up to 40% of the time.An ideal candidate also has:
      • 5+ years of industry experience working with Public Sector verticals.
      • Self-motivated and results-driven.
      • Strong negotiation and budget-management skills.The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below.
