Job Description BAE Systems is hiring a highly motivated and
collaborative Business Systems Manager to lead the Supply Chain
Risk Management (SCRM) & IT Management efforts and serve as the
primary liaison between the Platforms & Services (P&S) Supply
Chain and the IT department. This role will drive innovation and
improvement across the P&S Sector through the development of a
clear Supply Chain Technology roadmap and the implementation of
automation solutions. Ideal candidate will have working knowledge
of Supply Chain operations, prior experience working with MRP / ERP
systems, and prior experience providing automation support to the
Supply Chain function.Key Responsibilities:
- SCRM Leadership: Collaborate with the INC Director of SCRM and
Supply Chain professionals across the Sector to represent P&S
on global and INC initiatives related to SCRM.
- Technology Roadmap: Develop a clear SC technology roadmap in
partnership with P&S Sector IT and SC resources, aligned with
the Global SC digital strategy.
- Automation Initiatives: Lead the implementation of a common
Source-to-Pay platform and Contract Life Cycle Management utility
across the P&S Business Units, collaborating with
cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met and common
practices are implemented.
- Digital Solution for SCRM: Represent P&S in supporting BAE
INC efforts to provide a digital solution for SCRM, working in
close collaboration with other INC sectors and Enterprise Shared
Services (ESS) to design a risk management method that permits
predictive modeling to the 2nd and 3rd tier of the supply
chain.
- Data Analytics: Facilitate the development of improved data
analytics across the Sector SC, consolidating supply chain
functional metrics through validated methodologies, and working
with IT leadership to establish automated metrics through
harmonized data models.
- Global and INC Initiatives: Represent P&S on INC and Global
initiatives related to SC automation, data aggregation, metrics,
SCRM, and more.
- Indirect and Direct Procurement: Support indirect and direct
procurement activity, with a strong working knowledge of concepts
and procedures that support sourcing, compliance, reporting, and
data in these areas.
- Other Duties: Support environmental, sustainability, and
governance reporting activities, automate Partner2Win Supplier
Scorecards and Internal SC Assessments, and oversee P&S
Cybersecurity, Cloud Service, and other IT-related SC processes and
controls.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent
experience
- Experience in Supply Chain Operations and Technology
- Experience in Supply Chain MRP/ERP systems (Oracle, SAP,
Deltek, etc.) and item data management principles
- Experience in Supply Chain Risk Management methods and
concepts
- Experience in advanced Data Analytics, Reporting,
Visualization, Automation (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, various
database systems / tools)
- Strong Digital Acumen with Analytical and Critical Thinking
skills
- Excellent graphing, charting, and dashboard creation
skills
- Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging
technologies with the ability to identify opportunities for
innovation and improvement
- Demonstrated project leadership / program management experience
working large scale, cross-functional projects
- Ability to motivate and guide a small team through influence
and demonstrated success working to achieve common ground across a
varied set of stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all
levelsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Professional Certification in Supply Chain, Project Management,
Business Systems, Data Analytics, or related
- Expertise in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools and
technologies
- Broad experience in Supply Chain IT, Cybersecurity, Cloud
Computing Governance, and Risk Management frameworks
- Experience working within an Aerospace and Defense
organization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Project Management
toolsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140Please
note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
