Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the transformation of our
licensing activities for nuclear reactor technology by defining and
driving innovative approaches to streamline the licensing process
with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and state and local
agencies. The role will focus on reducing the timeframe for site
licensing and revamp environmental reviews, embracing and
implementing change at every level. By leveraging strong
relationships with regulatory partners and collaborating
effectively with business units, the role will develop strategies
that front-load environmental activities and influence NRC policy.
This role requires a proactive leader capable of identifying
opportunities for transformation and translating vision into
executable plans. This role will also help develop strategies to
leverage U.S. licensing to facilitate efficient international
licensing.

Compensation
As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy,
LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly
advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g.
education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual
candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position
will be offered a salary within this range based on their
respective levels of education/training, experience, and other
qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the
specific office location and region referenced in the posting to
take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not
be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges
listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not
include benefits or other incentives.
A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience
required is:
$200,000- $253,000. The compensation for this position is comprised
of base salary plus an annual short term incentive which is
variable, based on scope of responsibility and achievement of
goals.
