DEPUTY CHIEF "MAINTENANCE" - FLEET MANAGEMENT DIVISION
POSTING DATE: 10/29/2024
SALARY RANGE: $93,622.00 - $149,726.00, Annually
BACKGROUND CHECK: Eligible candidates under final consideration for
appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be
required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check
and/or Fingerprint screening and must be successfully
completed.
PROBATION: All persons, including current City employees, selected
for this position must complete a mandatory 6-month probation.
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Deputy Chief of Maintenance for the Fleet
Management Division assists with leading a team of approximately
187 and will have direct oversight of and direct the day-to-day
maintenance and repairs for the Fleet Management Division on an
annual basis. The Deputy Chief of Maintenance will oversee multiple
facilities within the Fleet Management Division located throughout
the City, ensuring that building maintenance is properly
coordinated and adheres to industry best practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree from an
accredited college or university and seven (7) years of experience
in administrative or professional work, two (2) years of which must
have included supervision or project management.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of five (5) years of senior
management experience in Fleet management.
