our company.The Role:As a Senior Sales Engineer in the public
sector at Ping Identity, you'll merge your enthusiasm for identity
management and public sector ICAM with a commitment to customer
success. In collaboration with our dynamic sales team, you will
engage in customer meetings, demonstrations, and proof of concepts,
showcasing our solutions' business and technical
benefits.Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-sales activities, including solution
demonstrations, presentations, technical guidance, proof of
concepts, and RfX responses.
- Act as the go-to technical expert on Ping Identity solutions
for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Establish enduring relationships with customers and become
their trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver revenue during key
sales cycle phases.
- Coordinate pre-sales efforts with a post-sales service delivery
team.
- Provide insightful feedback on product enhancements and
customer needs to product owners.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Develop subject matter expert-level knowledge of at least one
of Ping Identity's solutions.
- Able to travel 15% to 40% as needed.Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field, or
5+ years' experience with enterprise-level software systems in a
customer-facing role.
- 3+ years experience working with or for US Federal government
agencies.
- Deep knowledge of standard identity protocols and technologies
that underlie identity solutions.
- Expertise in developing and delivering effective technical
presentations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work with a high level of self-direction and
collaboratively with team and customers.Ideal Candidate Skills:
- Installation and/or configuration of IAM technologies.
- Experience with web applications servers and operating
systems.
- Experience with DevOps processes and platforms.Life at Ping:We
