Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Database Admin
Principle as an Architecture/Engineering Support Specialist to join
our team located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia supporting Enterprise
Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) efforts to implement the
architecture, required services, and facilitate Army adoption of
the DoD Cloud services. The program provides Information Technology
services and technical subject matter expertise (SME) to support
overall strategy and migration to the Army cloud (cARMY)
environment that currently includes Amazon Web Services and
Microsoft Azure clouds at IL 2, 4, 5 and 6.The successful candidate
will implement and maintain smooth operation of databases. Conducts
performance tuning of indexes and databases in general. Reviews
database design and integration of systems, provides backup
recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or
improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates
policies, procedures, and standards relating to database
management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization.
Supports data management, IM/document management, measurement, and
reporting (Metrics/KPI of current month and cumulative) including
comparison data in monthly performance reports. Ensures reports,
documents, and narrative-type deliverables are adequate/acceptable
for the government as well as maintaining databases necessary for
ECMA services.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 6+years working
experience, may substitute experience for education such as High
School graduate with 10+ years of experience; candidates with Armed
Forces courses, extensive certification, and additional experience
are highly encouraged to applyDoDM 8140.03 (former DoD 8570.01-M)
Intermediate (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) qualification (e.g.
Security+ CA) within 6 months of starting positionMust be located
within 75 miles of ECMA at Ft. Belvoir, VA.Preferred Education,

Bachelor's Degree in Information

CertificationPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 -
$191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
