Associate Applications Engineer - CastingsJob Category: EngineeringRequisition Number: ASSOC006837Posted: January 22, 2025Employment Type: Full-TimeWork Location: On-site at ConMet's corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington.The Associate Applications Engineer (AAE) in our Castings business unit is a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who will play a pivotal role in supporting our Application Engineering team. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between customer requirements and internal operations, ensuring seamless project execution and prototype development.As an AAE, you will collaborate closely with Application Engineers and the Sales team to translate customer needs into actionable deliverables for internal stakeholders, including Design Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams. You will also take ownership of managing prototype activities, managing internal and external vendors, and working in tandem with corporate manufacturing teams to meet customer demands.Key Responsibilities:

• Organizing and analyzing RFQ (Request for Quotation) data.
• Extracting relevant information from quote documents.
• Preparing comprehensive internal quote packages for cross-functional team alignment.
• Occasionally involving auxiliary design tasks, providing exposure to product development processes.Required Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.Preferred Experience:

      • New hires generally start between $64,738 - $92,483, with a full salary range of $64,738 - $110,980 per year.
