Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered, a minority-owned
professional consulting engineering firm in Washington, DC, is
seeking a talented and energetic Administrative/Quality Control
Assistant to join the team supporting a major infrastructure
project in the region.

Administrative Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate personnel.
Maintain office supplies and ensure equipment is in working
order.
Assist with organizing meetings, events, and special
ceremonies.
Coordinate logistics for team-building, holiday events, and client
gatherings.
Manage IT support for troubleshooting and software accounts.
Organize meetings, manage calendars, and assist with travel
arrangements.
Quality Control Responsibilities:
Review documents, presentations, and reports for quality and
consistency.
Ensure adherence to formatting standards, grammar, and style
guides.
Verify consistency with prior materials in messaging and
layout.
Collaborate with staff to meet quality control standards before
submission.
Provide feedback to improve clarity and presentation quality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree
in business administration, communications, or a related field
preferred.
Proven experience in administrative support, office coordination,
or similar roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint,
Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint for document management and
collaboration.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple
tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to perform quality
control checks on documents for accuracy, consistency, formatting,
grammar, and style.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
interact professionally with clients, vendors, and staff.
Familiarity with office equipment, including copiers, fax machines,
and phone systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive
information with discretion.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a general office environment 100% of the
time.
Position is full-time, on-site at the client's program office five
days a week.
