Job Description:
A company is looking for a Transplant Financial Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate financial matters between the hospital, patients, and
third-party payors, ensuring necessary authorizations for
transplant services
Track transplant patient cases and coordinate billing and
collection processes, identifying discrepancies and ensuring proper
documentation
Educate patients and families on insurance coverage, financial
status, and available financial support programs
Required Qualifications
Experience in financial coordination within healthcare, preferably
related to transplant services
Knowledge of insurance coverage and entitlement benefits specific
to transplant
Ability to analyze financial data and assess patient financial
status
Experience with database management and documentation processes
Participation in multidisciplinary meetings and effective
communication with clinical teams
