Financial Analysis and Reporting, is seeking an Accountant 2 to
analyze and monitor financial and claims processing reports. If

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing and
monitoring financial and claims processing reports; effectively
utilizing data files; creating worksheets, charts, and
presentations; and interpreting contract language and reporting
requirements to assess managed care organization (MCO) compliance.
Your analytical tasks will require initiative and sound judgment.
You will work with large data files to extract data for financial
analysis, develop and maintain Access databases, and build advanced
Excel worksheets incorporating complex formulas, links, and pivot
tables. Decision-making will be based on established policies,
procedures, standards, and division practices.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5
hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday,
with a 60-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to
work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must
have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work
from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to
telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters
office in Harrisburg.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year
as an Accountant 1; orTwo years of professional accounting
experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university,
including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting.Four
years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in
accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A Master's
degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one
year of general work experience. Other Requirements:You must meet
